In addition to a great story, good actors and a certain budget, every aspiring dystopian science fiction novel needs some sort of artificial intelligence. Ranging all the way from Forbidden Planet (1956) over WarGames (1983) to Ex Machina (2015), movies have asked the question "What are intelligent machines capable of?".

Admittedly, some of the artificial intelligences shown on the AI Chronicles Shirt are rather benevolent, but deep down in our minds, there's always the nagging question whether we are digging our own graves or not. And even geniuses like Stephen Hawking are concerned about AIs... But then again, maybe we've just watched too many movies and are blind to the possibilities of sentient computers. ;)
