The Book Nook Sunset Isle tries anyway. The building kit from Rolife comes as a bookend for your shelf and shows a small coastal town at sunset: a house with a red tile roof and turquoise-framed arched windows, a cat on the roof, a seagull in flight beside it. Plus a balcony with stone balustrade, a terrace with sail shade and wicker chair, lemon trees full of fruit, stairs with a sign reading OPEN and in the background the bay with sailboat and lighthouse. The outside is printed like an old travel brochure. 284 pieces, snapped together instead of glued, and the lighting offers two moods.

For everyone who likes to look elsewhere for a moment in November. The island doesn't exist, but the light is perfect.
