Which Star Trek fan did not want to have a really working communicator? This dream can nearly come true now:

The USB Star Trek Communicator has a built-in microphone and loudspeaker for the USB port of your computer so that you can use it to make real phone calls (for example with Skype). Additionally, it has built-in original Star Trek sounds: When you open the cover, the typical Star Trek Communicator chirping is played and you can additionally play sound examples from the motion pictures when you press a button on the device. You also have the possibility to adjust the volume by turning another button.

In order to use the USB Star Trek Communicator, you need a free USB port on your computer. The device uses the standard USB sound protocol so that no additional software is needed, it works with all newer operating systems (like, for example, Windows XP and OS X 10.5).
