Description Math watch 2.0

  • On this wall clock, the times are encoded by 13 different math problems
  • The solutions to the problems give the time at which they are written.
There are people who collect stamps, some who keep more than 20 cats and others who consider arithmetic their hobby. If you have landed on this page, you seem to belong to the latter category - or you know someone who is addicted to the mystique of numbers and is interested in nothing else but solving the next math problem. Someone like that is perfect for our Advent and Easter puzzles - because someone has to solve them and win the great prizes ;)

However, if you want to be a real math geek, you definitely need the math clock 2.0. In contrast to version 1.0, this is the advanced model, so to speak, because it is even more difficult to read. All times are encoded using mathematical formulas or constants and the results are not necessarily straight. So if you want to get the exact number, you have to do a bit of math ;) Or do you even know off the top of your head what the Apéry constant or the natural logarithm of the prime number 997 is?
